Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME)

Exciting news: Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas, in partnership with the Big Country Manufacturing Alliance, has been awarded a FAME Catalyst Grant by The Manufacturing Institute and FAME USA! 🎉
We’re bringing a FAME chapter to the Big Country, creating earn-and-learn apprenticeship opportunities that connect local manufacturers with the next generation of skilled manufacturing talent.
Through the FAME model, students gain hands-on training while earning a paycheck and manufacturers build the durable talent pipelines they need to grow. It’s a win for workers, a win for businesses, and a win for local communities.
If you’re a manufacturing employer who wants to get involved, reach out at info@wfswct.org or info@bcmatexas.org.
